Cadillac has unveiled the latest addition to its V-Series with the all-new 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing. These latest models, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the V-Series, feature a showcase of American craftsmanship, updated technology and increased performance, representing Cadillac’s efforts in blending luxury and sport.

John Roth, Cadillac’s Vice President, highlighted the significance of these models in driving the brand’s momentum, explaining that “Last year, our sedans experienced their best sales since 2018 and CT5 is Cadillac’s best-selling vehicle, globally. As V-Series celebrates a record year, the importance of this option for those customers who value performance and power cannot be overstated.”

Both the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing boast a refreshed exterior design, featuring a revised front fascia that provides a bold and aggressive look. Cadillac also shared that the interiors have been meticulously crafted, with a focus on quality materials and attention to detail.

The CT5-V presents a new performance-oriented front end, a dramatic fastback profile, a redesigned grille and advanced lighting features. It also introduces three new colors – Drift Metallic, Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic. Additionally, the iconic Cadillac Crest lights up on the back of the 33-inch-diagonal LED display, designed to welcome drivers with a touch of luxury.

As for the CT5-V Blackwing, it takes boldness a step further with its aero-ground effects and front fenders. It also features new color options and an updated Carbon Fiber Package, adding to its high-performance appeal.

At the interior, both models are equipped with a 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display, offering a customizable interface for a personalized user experience. The enhanced in-vehicle Performance Data Recorder and Head-up display (HUD) provide powerful data analysis and performance feedback directly in the driver’s line of sight. The integration of Google built-in services, including Google Assistant and Google Maps, provides even further convince and connectivity. Additionally, both cars feature Cadillac’s “Super Cruise” driver assistance technology and an updated “Driver Attention Assist.”

Taking a look under the hood, the CT5-V features a 3.0TT engine with 360 hp, while the CT5-V Blackwing boasts a 6.2L Supercharged V-8 engine, producing a more than capable 668 hp. Both models incorporate Cadillac’s philosophy of “isolated precision,” offering a smooth yet engaging driving experience. With standard Brembo brakes, Performance Traction Management and Magnetic Ride Control, both sedans are designed to be as adept on the racetrack as they are on city streets.

Both vehicles are set to launch this Summer and will make their debut at Rolex 24 At DAYTONA the weekend of January 27.
