New Balance Introduces FuelCell Rebel v4
Alongside its new RC Short.

With the new year underway, New Balance is extending its FuelCell shoe line by introducing the new FuelCell Rebel v4.
By revealing the latest iteration of the FuelCell line, the sportswear giant is focused on equipping runners of all skill sets with the best equipment – all in the pursuit of continuously honing their craft. Specifically, the new shoe is built for those who frequently run – boasting elevating performance and durability. Comprising the FuelCell Rebel v4 is a lightweight sub 7-ounce build for up-tempo runs, a new cushioned midsole crafted from a PEBA/EVA blend, an increased Fuelcell foam size and a newly engineered mesh upper with FANTOMFIT and a gusseted tongue that enhances midfoot security.
Aside from the focal shoe, New Balance has also introduced its new RC short – serving as the shoe’s perfect complement. Also featuring a lightweight composition, the shorts feature a built-in brief, moisture-wicking four-way stretch fabric, 86% recycled polyester, an external back zippered pocket and two internal drop-in pockets. Additionally, the shorts come in 3, 5 and 7-inch lengths.
“The RC Short is the direct result of extensive consumer feedback and exhaustive wear testing at the New Balance Sports Research Lab,” said Amy Margolius, senior manager of apparel product creation at New Balance. “Designed and built for superior comfort, the RC Short features our internal brief with seamless constructed fabric, allowing fewer seams and a distraction-free run.”
