Cav Empt Returns With Dystopian SS24 Collection
With its first release of the season available now.
Design masterminds Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell have led Japanese label Cav Empt for 13 years now — paving the way with its signature combination of disruptive graphics and ultramodern workwear silhouettes. Diving into the new year, Cav Empt has returned with a preview of its Spring/Summer 2024 collection that has just launched its first wave of goods.
Per usual, the enigmatic brand has prepared a range of outerwear that doesn’t shy away from taking risks with items like the PVC Hood Zip Jacket combining graphics and branding with a completely see-through build. On the knitwear side of things, the Collared Mesh Knit Cardigan is similarly revealing with a loose-gauge build that highlights whatever layers lie underneath. All-over graphics make a return with the shirting options as new designs across crewnecks, hoodies and tees embrace the label’s dystopian roots. Various loose-fitting pants and summer-ready shorts support the lineup alongside thematic accessories such as socks and bags, tying everything together.
Cav Empt has kicked off its Spring/Summer 2024 collection with the release of seven items ranging from outerwear such as the Wool Boa Inner Zip Jacket priced at $415 USD to its latest pair of socks priced at $25 USD. Expect weekly releases throughout the coming months via Cav Empt on Thursday evenings (Friday mornings in Japan) at 7pm EST while select retailers receive products at various points during the season.
