A picnic at the park, a road trip to the great outdoors, a beach party or even a Sunday cleaning session around the crib isn’t complete without your favorite tunes bumping in the background. And this season, Sonos is seeking to upgrade your listening experience and bring more vibes to your events with its brand-new Sonos Move 2 portable speaker.

From a design perspective, the Move 2 is built with a slightly more slim and less boxy build than its predecessor. It has a duo of tweeters that are angled out to provide a wider stereo experience and this configuration can enhance the audio quality and create a more immersive listening sound. One of the weaknesses of the original Move was its battery life. It appears that Sonos has addressed this issue with the Move 2, offering better battery performance. Additionally, the speaker has an IP56 rating, which makes it both water and dust-resistant, you can use the device to stream via Bluetooth to a stereo pair of Move 2 speakers when connected to Wi-Fi or pair the Move 2 with the rest of your Sonos system to amplify your sound.

The Sonos Move 2 is set to release towards the end of September for $449 USD in three colors: black, white, and olive.

For other news, Samsung rolled out $20k USD outdoor terrace TV.
