La Sportiva Joins Janji for a Vibrant Collaboration Designed for Runners
Featuring the redesigned Jackall II trail runners.
Outdoor specialist footwear brand, La Sportiva has connected with American sportswear brand, Janji for a performance-driven limited capsule collection, entitled “Door to World.”
The 10-piece running-focused collection consists of trail running shoes, sports apparel, and accessories that make up the essential kit for runners. Each piece is doused in multicolor stripes that form a wave-like pattern, boasting a vibrant color palette dominated by bright orange, forest green, blue, pale green, and touches of yellow.
Modeled after La Sportiva’s existing trail runner, the Jackall II is the hero piece of this collection. It’s redesigned with reduced weight, an improved and roomier toe-box, as well as an updated heel that ensures comfortable strides for its wearer. Another highlighted piece is the Zephyrunner Wind Shell packable windbreaker, featuring a “vaporlight” construction made of Janji’s super lightweight 20D nylon micro ripstop fabric.
Speaking on this collaboration, Jonathan Lantz, president of La Sportiva North America notes that both brands “share an understanding that trail running has the power to change lives.” He elaborates “This unique collaboration reflects both brands’ commitment to crafting eco-friendly products that embrace the toughness of the trails while working to create a welcoming community that sees every runner as an athlete on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.“
The collection is available to shop now at REI and will be released on Janji and La Sportiva’s official websites on October 3.
