FILA has turned back the clocks with the launch of its new heritage-inspired collection that honors 50 years of its signature F-Box logo.

Originally landing on tennis garments in the early ‘70s, the two-toned “F” symbol – famously designed by Sergio Privitera – has become a transcendental emblem of the brand. Not only does it symbolize the Italian sportswear label’s expertise in tennis wear, but also, its versatility and creativity in reinterpreting silhouettes for every day. Dipping into its vast archive of styles, the latest collection celebrates this long-standing history by incorporating decades of well-loved design features in an array of clothing and accessories.

Similar to traditional tennis outfits, the men’s offering focuses on two-piece sets that offer a sleek feel as well as easy wearability. While some of the co-ords – consisting of fine-knit tops and bottoms – subscribe to a minimalistic look with block colors and contrasting panels, other sets are crafted with technical materials that arrive emblazoned with a bold racquet print. In FILA’s signature colors of navy, red and white, an assortment of polo shirts, crewnecks and shorts complete with an embroidered F-Box logo round off the men’s range.

Aligning these designs to the women’s offering, the brand proposes shorts, skirts and knit tops in the same hues and prints. As well as the tennis-inspired pieces, a selection of neutral-toned cropped tops stamped with the F-Box drop alongside matching lounge pants, taking cues from today’s athleisure trends. Both lines also boast classic accessories such as caps, socks and sweatbands to enrich the sporty feel throughout.

Ahead of the launch of her own FILA Fall/Winter 2024 collection, brand ambassador Hailey Bieber steps in to style the anniversary line for its accompanying brand campaign. She stars in the playful visuals with tennis star Reilly Opelka, representing the colliding worlds of fashion and sport at FILA.
