Lil Wayne Announces New Project ‘Tha Fix Before Tha VI’
Leading up to the eventual release of ‘Tha Carter VI.’
Lil Wayne will be coming out with a new project called Tha Fix Before Tha VI. The rapper took to social media to share the red-hued cover art, which shows him decked out in jewelry, per usual, putting on a pair of sunglasses.
It’s not yet clear if the Tha Fix Before Tha VI is a mixtape, an EP or a full-length album and Wayne didn’t caption his post. He did, however, share a pre-save link to the project that tells fans it’s “coming soon.”
Given its title, Tha Fix Before Tha VI is expected arrive sometime prior to Tha Carter VI album that Wayne announced last year. Simultaneously, he’s also working on a collaborative joint with 2 Chainz entitled ColleGrove II.
Wayne has been on a roll as of late. Just earlier this year, he dropped I Am Music, an 18-track greatest hits LP with guest features from Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, the late DMX and more.
