John Geiger and Steal Boyz Come Together for "Vol 2" Footwear Release
Modifying and dyeing the brand’s signature GF-01 sneaker.
Following a successful collaboration in 2021, luxury streetwear and footwear designer John Geiger is teaming up yet again with the Steal Boyz — known for their meticulous dyeing techniques and reworked Nike AF1 “Steal Force 1” shoes that put them on the map.
With Geiger’s own GF-01 being largely inspired by the AF1, this latest collaboration comes together in what feels like a second-nature approach for the two footwear designers.
The collaboration comes to life as a “Pastel Pack,” with the Steal Boyz taking base white GF-01s and submitting them to a meticulous hand-dyed and hand-distressed treatment. Colors found in the pack include Purple, Pink, Mint, Blue, Orange and Lime, with each pair including an extra set of matching dyed laces and a pair of dyed John Geiger socks.
John Geiger x Steal Boyz Vol 2 “Pastel Pack” is set to release later today, September 8, via John Geiger’s official site for a retail price of $250 USD each.
In addition to the Pastel Pack release, Geiger teased on Instagram that a limited edition run of “Misplaced G’s” will also be included in the drop — available in Mint, Plum and Orange while supplies last.
