MSCHF Presents the Medical Boot-Inspired AC2 Mule

When it comes to dreaming up absurd designs, nobody does it quite like MSCHF. Throughout recent years, the brand has gone viral time and time again, thanks to its boundary-pushing ideas that feed perfectly into the social media-driven world we live in today. With its most recent project, the label leaned on the success of the Big Red Boots by teaming up with Crocs to create the Big Yellow Boots.
Now, it looks back to last year’s spin on medical boots — the AC1 — to create a mule version of the boot. Again, medical footwear serves as inspiration with the slip-on silhouette served with a strap system that reaches across the midfoot. Its base color revisits gray while black detailing such as the strap and foam toe also make a return. The lightweight build utilizes EVA foam alongside MSCHF’s patented WOWCOMFY! technology. Peeking inside, a molded neoprene liner invites one’s foot inside, reinforcing its comfort-oriented design.
Release for the MSCHF AC2 is scheduled to take place on August 22 at 2pm EDT via MSCHF’s website and the MSCHF Sneakers app at a price of $115 USD. You can also head over to GOAT to cop a pair.
