Charli XCX‘s “Speed Drive” – off the Mark Ronson-curated Barbie The Album soundtrack – has now gotten the Charli visual treatment. The UK musician tapped trendsetter Devon Lee Carlson for the track’s lively, Barbie-pink music video.

Carlson, in the driver’s seat, and Charli are cruising in a hot pink sports car (equipped with an “XCX” license plate), as the songstress delivers the track’s leading lyrics (which include a shout to Carlson). “She’s my best friend in the whole world / On the mood board she’s the inspo / And she’s dressed in really cute clothes / Kawaii like we’re in Tokyo / Devon Lee smile teeth a white row / Got a classic real deep Van Gogh.”

After the first verse, Charli gets out of the car, only to be interrupted by a phone call from Sam Smith. She flips open her phone to converse with Smith – potentially hinting at an upcoming collaboration – tells Smith she’s in the middle of something and flips her phone shut. Carlson then wastes no time, delving back into doing donuts around the parking lot as Charli delivers the chorus in the middle. “Ah Barbie you’re so fine / You’re so fine you blow my mind / Jump into the driver’s seat / And put it into speed drive.”
