Charli XCX Drops 'Barbie The Album' Contribution "Speed Drive"

Charli XCX is the latest artist to release her Barbie The Album cut entitled “Speed Drive.”
Clocking in at just under two minutes, the cut was produced by Easyfun and arrives as an upbeat offering with an interpolation of Toni Basil’s “Hey Mickey” in the chorus, replacing the name with Barbie. “Speed Drive” follows last week’s “Barbie World” from Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, and joins the likes of Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night,” Karol G and Aldo Ranks “Watati” and PinkPantheress’ “Angel.”
The Barbie soundtrack will also include cuts from Lizzo, Tame Impala and more, and will drop alongside the premiere of the film.
