Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice Are Real Life Barbies in New Collab "Barbie World"
Sampling Aqua’s classic cut, “Barbie Girl.”
Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have reunited for “Barbie World,” their newest collab that is set to appear on the soundtrack album of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
The joint samples Aqua’s classic cut “Barbie Girl” and arrives with an appropriately pink music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis, which sees the two transform into real life Barbie dolls hanging out at Barbie’s dreamhouse, driving around Barbie World, flying through the skies and terrifying men in suits with their gigantic heights — a call back to the first Barbie trailer.
“Barbie World” follows Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night,” Karol G and Aldo Ranks “Watati” and PinkPantheress’ “Angel.” The Barbie soundtrack will also include cuts from Lizzo, Tame Impala, Charli XCX and more, and will drop alongside the premiere of the film.
