To showcase a slew of classic MCM silhouettes, MCM tapped the iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford to front its latest nostalgic campaign. The Fall/Winter 2023 Heritage Campaign highlights Crawford’s decades-long connection with the German luxury fashion house, linking its past and present while exemplifying an authentic timelessness that will remain in the future.

Crawford sits against a stack of an array of monogrammed MCM bag styles – including the backpack, the shopper, the shoulder bag, the Boston bag, the crossbody and the tote – and holds the latest leather Mode Trivia crossbody in her lap. Each caramel-hued bag is stamped with the MCM monogram, complemented by laurel and diamond design codes which, when combined, create the brand’s unmistakable visual signature, the Cognac Visetos.

Photographed by Juergen Teller, the campaign was produced in collaboration with Baron and Baron creative director, Fabien Baron. Though Crawford’s first MCM campaign was back in the 1990s when Herb Ritts photographed the supermodel for a 1996 campaign.

MCM spotlighted Crawford’s lengthy loyalty to the brand in a nostalgic Instagram post.

“It was nostalgic for me to travel back in time with MCM from our first photoshoot in the ’90s with my dear friend Herb Ritts. Their classic bags remain timeless,” Crawford reflected on the Heritage Campaign.
