JJJJound’s Vision of a European Vacation Is Tonal Ease

What remains true about Montreal-based JJJJound is its commitment to simple, yet attractive staples. There’s no fluff or grandeur, as the allure lies in its timeless minimalism. The brand has now revealed its latest European Vacation lookbook for the season, which stays in line with its personality.
“Despite all of JJJJound’s accolades, the untrained eye can’t easily spot what makes it successful. The brand isn’t reinventing the wheel,” said Elliot Santiago about the brand’s taste. “A majority of its drops consist of basic sweatshirts, oxfords, chinos and blank tees, many of which fall under the J.Crew-type mold.” The same is true for the latest European Vacation installment. For it, the brand tosses up a lineup of outerwear, a hoodie, a sweatshirt, tees, relaxed pants and shorts.
Perhaps the most eye-catching pieces of the collection include a lightweight beige four-button linen jacket and a military-esque cotton cargo jacket. Both jackets and their tonal hues and fabrications then cozy up nicely with matching shorts – making for a calm look that transitions perfectly between summer and fall. The remaining garments also appear in shades of beige and olive alongside black and white. Finishing off the collection are light tan tote bags and hats.
