In the last year, BEAMS has expanded its ever-growing lineup of offerings by introducing its FUTURE ARCHIVE line. Designed to be a timeless line of goods, the brand continues to grow with a new collaboration featuring tattoo artist TAPPEI.

Faded crewnecks and tees have been adorned with graphics from TAPPEI — utilizing the artist’s design language to introduce new and returning characters of his to the line. On top of this, a special stuffed animal version of TAPPEI’s angel character has been prepared in a fitting white makeover. Lastly, a “TAPPEX” wristwatch has again been designed, featuring a “DAY-OFF” theme that depicts the sky.

Release for the TAPPEI x BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE capsule begins on August 4 with select items available via BEAMS’ website. In addition to this, a release event is scheduled to take place on the launch day at BEAMS Harajuku Annex. During the event, TAPPEI will be creating a painting in-person. Prices for the collection range from ¥8,800 JPY (approx. $62 USD) for the tees to ¥24,200 JPY (approx. $170 USD) for the wristwatch.
