Nike’s kept all hands on deck surrounding the return of the Zoom Vomero 5. In less than a year, we’ve seen it return in around 30 different colorways — from a slick “Cobblestone” to a funky “Timeless” version with Dunk overlays. Now, the streak of looks continues with a brightly-colored “University Red.”

Offering even more red than the “Mystic Red” colorway, this pair utilizes the mixed material upper to showcase the signature hue against a white loose-gauge mesh and silver reflective Swooshes. Suede and leather join synthetic materials to comprise the upper while the typical reflective notes are included at the tongue, toe and heel, providing even more light at night. Wedged between red at the point the upper joins the sole and the rubber outsole, an off-white midsole further breaks up the pair. Lastly, notes of “Washed Coral” ease into the look at the midfoot, lining and heel, adding texture.

At the time of writing, Nike has not shared any of its release plans for the “University Red” version of the Zoom Vomero 5. Stay tuned for a firm release date as we expect this pair to arrive as part of the Swoosh’s fall releases via Nike and select retailers at a price of $160 USD.
