UNDERCOVER Resort 2024 Delivers "Contemporary Wear for Everyday Life"
Let Jun Takahashi reset your wardrobe.

Jun Takahashi has one thing to say: “UNDERCOVER returns to the brand’s roots with Pre-Collection. With a focus on developing ‘UNDERCOVER-esque’ looks, overarching seasonal themes are replaced in favor of contemporary wear for everyday life.” Take of that what you will, but it really means that UNDERCOVER’s Resort 2024 menswear collection is a wardrobe fit for all, always, and forever — it’s a fuss-free, classic delivery that’s sure to update your seasonal wears.
Double denim, leathers, camp collar shirts, PVC, sweaters, and techy T-shirts are all staples in the UNDERCOVERverse. As such, we find the lookbook opening with a denim jacket and matching jeans; the former is decked in multiple pockets and has zippers on the hem, curving upwards to reveal the shirt beneath and elements of the jeans that are also found on the jacket. A trench coat in black is trimmed around the collar in leather, welcoming the material into the fore as leather is used to create an elongated punk-ish biker jacket, a more classical interpretation of a biker jacket, and small carrying accessories.
Takahashi explores his brand’s love for PVC with tinted clear overcoats and layers, such as a cardigan-style covering, while these developed garments are also explored in traditional forms, presenting a green wool cardigan or bomber jackets. The term to use is “fool-proof” — sure, some shirts are spliced, other tees are graphic and also cut-and-repositioned, but it’s nothing too far out of one’s comfort zone.
