Much like it did with the Watercat+ this year, Nike will be doing some archival digging in 2024 and give its ACG Exploraid its first-ever retro release. According to Brendan Dunne from Complex, the retro silhouette from 1999 will be revived and launched as part of the Swoosh’s Spring ‘24 season. At the time of writing, no leaked imagery has surfaced online, however, we do have a close look at an OG pair courtesy of IG user @tommycorlito.

The low-slung model’s original build featured an inner bootie that was made from neoprene and was accompanied by a mix of leather and nubuck overlays. ACG badges were situated towards the lateral heels while “Air” hits arrived on the tongues. Additionally, the midsole’s forefoot was constructed with mesh. The first pairs will start to roll out in February of next year and include “Ash Green/Varsity Red” and “Orewood Brown/Sail” installments.

Pairs will come in sizes 3.5 to 15 and release via the Nike SNKRS app through the brand’s neighborhood retail affiliates. Stay tuned as we receive further word on leaked imagery and official release dates that will likely surface in the coming months.

Elsewhere in sneakers, official images of the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 “University Red” have appeared.
