NewJeans Drops "ETA" Music Video Shot Entirely on iPhone 14 Pro
Off the K-pop group’s newly-released EP, ‘Get Up.’
K-pop girl group NewJeans has dropped off the official video for “ETA,” off their all-new EP, Get Up.
The visual, which was shot entirely on an iPhone 14 Pro in collaboration with Apple, sees NewJeans discover that their friend’s boyfriend is a cheater, while they’re attending a pool party. They call to inform their friend; and after a slew of dance sequences ensue, the video turns dark, when the boyfriend and his newfound lover are stuffed in the trunk of a car.
“My heart hurts when you can’t let him go / Trust me you deserve better than that / I’ll give you a hand, he’s just playin’ / Boys be always lying, yeah,” the group sings on the tracks.
“ETA” lands on NewJeans’ Get Up, which features six songs, including “Super Shy” and Cool With You,” both of which were released as singles and previously received music videos. The group also delivered a visual for “New Jeans,” which was made in collaboration with the animated series, The Powerpuff Girls. “ASAP,” another Get Up track, will also receive a music video, though NewJeans has not yet disclosed its release date.
