Nike Presents the Jordan Zion 3
Zion Williamson’s latest silhouette with Jordan Brand has been crafted to support his unique combination of strength and speed.
It’s been an exciting offseason for Zion Williamson with the introduction of his newest signature sneaker with Jordan Brand being the most recent announcement of his. Titled the Jordan Zion 3, it builds off of the success of his first two court-ready sneakers by “supporting him in three specific ways: containment, court feel and impact protection.”
With the Jordan Zion 3, Formula 23 foam and a Zoom Air unit at the forefoot provides the responsive cushioning Williamson needs to not only fly high but also control the game on the floor. A rubber herringbone pattern lands at the traction while the stack height is lower than his previous two iterations. Looking closer at the upper, 3D imaging of Zion’s foot last launching through mud — a reference to him feeling as though he’s “made it out of the mud,” — is used to create a unique material and color splatter combination highlighted throughout its colorways.
For those looking forward to the launch of the Jordan Zion 3, its rollout begins with its “Sanctuary” look releasing in September at a price of $140 USD as a North American-exclusive.
