While ASICS has always held a special spot in the heart of running and streetwear enthusiasts, the Japanese sportswear giant has gained plenty of steam as of late, thanks in part to the rise of 2000s style sneakers. In particular, the GEL KAYANO 14 has been a popular silhouette in recent times, with JJJJound and UNAFFECTED adding their personal spin on the classic. During Paris Fashion Week 2023, ASICS revealed its plans to roll out the GT-2160 in two timeless iterations.

Following an upcoming Dime collaboration, the GT-2160 will be adding a “White/Pure Silver” and “White/Shamrock Green” colorway that bodes well with a number of fits, from casual to sportswear. Similar to the GEL KAYANO 14, the GT-2160 features a largely mesh upper with silver and black accents. Additional highlights include a mustard and emerald GEL cushioning in the midsole in each pair, respectively.

For those looking to cop, the GT-2160 “White/Pure Silver” and “White/Shamrock Green” has an MSRP of €129,95 EUR / $142 USD and is slated to release in both Europe and North America later this month. Keep tabs at ASICS for all upcoming drops.
