Throughout 2023, it has been made clear that a key returning model to Nike’s portfolio is the Mac Attack. Between early pairs popping up in March and a media campaign starring Travis Scott and John “Johnny Mac” McEnroe himself, the shoe is poised to be a focal point of the Swoosh’s lifestyle offerings. In preparation of its continued rollout, the Hypebeast team recently detailed the silhouette’s history in a feature on the shoe. Now, a previously-revealed Social Status collaboration on the silhouette has appeared once again with detailed images of its “Iron Ore” colorway.

Matching the three colorways showcased in March, the “Iron Ore” pair features tear-away layers at the Swooshes and heel details, converting a shimmering silver to a rough pink that matches the tongue’s co-branding. The rest of the shoe leans on a “Summit White” arrangement throughout the upper with a light platinum gray gracing the rubber outsole. Completing the release, the shoe box and an additional set of laces come in special collaborative packaging.

While no news regarding the release timeline of the Social Status x Nike Mac Attack collection has been disclosed just yet, this seeded pair indicates that its release should take place during the summer. Look for it to touch down first via Social Status with a Nike release shortly thereafter.
