Jordan Nu Retro 1 Gets "Panda" Treatment
Brining the ultra-popular colorway to yet another silhouette.
Nike‘s Jordan Brand has revealed that it’s Nu Retro 1 Low, a shoe revived in 2022 from the archives of the early 2000s, will be getting a release in the highly popular “Panda” colorway.
The monochromatic colorway was first popularized and immortalized through the release of Jeff Staple’s Nike SB Dunk Low “Panda Pigeon” in 2019. Since then and most recently, the colorway has been made ultra-accessible through continuous restocks of the 2021 Nike Dunk Low “Panda” — which speaking of, is expecting another restock later this month.
As for its expression on the Nu Retro 1, we can’t help but feel like it looks very similar to “Light Smoke Grey” first seen in May. That being said, the pair does feature large blocks of material with minimal detail, making it difficult to create an overly unique example using monochromatic styling.
Details of the shoe do include white leather with embossed Air Jordan branding elements, a smooth black leather heel, an icy blue tread accent and a black Jumpman logo at the midsole.
The shoe is expected to be released shortly at select retailers and the official Jordan website at a retail price of $105 USD.
