Closer Look at the Dime x ASICS GT-2160 Collaboration
The Montreal-based streetwear imprint applies a clean, gradient motif to the lifestyle runner.
Momentum is on ASICS‘ side right now given that its wealth of silhouettes continues to resonate with the lifestyle runner enthusiasts. And to build upon its garnered momentum this season, it will be unleashing a plethora of collaborations, one being this forthcoming Dime x ASICS GT-2160. This pair made its debut during the most recent Paris Fashion Week Men’s SS24, but we’ve got an exclusive look at the pair ahead of its global debut.
Crisp, neutral tones take charge on this latest installment. Clean white and off-white color-blocking envelops the mesh toe boxes, shoelaces, tongues and synthetic overlays that host the Japanese sportswear label’s tiger stripes. Its gradient effect starts at the quarter panel with a lighter gray tone before transitioning into a more muted gray shade towards the rear. Dime call-outs appear atop the lateral heel windows, the tongues of the left sneaker and the insoles, the latter of which rests atop brown insoles. More gradient action shows face across the middle of the midsoles which are styled up with a golden brushstroke accent.
Parties interested in picking up a pair can find these dropping via Dime on July 15.
