'Chainsaw Man' is Reimagined by UNIQLO UT's Kosuke Kawamura
Resulting in a variety of graphic tees showcasing the hit franchise’s characters.
Chainsaw Man closed out 2022 as one of the year’s most exciting anime releases — leading to various goods such as Goodsmile Company’s Denji figure. Now, while fans anxiously await word of a season two, UNIQLO UT has announced its Chainsaw Man collection. Following news of its collaboration with the Louvre Museum, the brand has shared that its creative director Kosuke Kawamura is spearheading the new campaign with various graphic tees in short-sleeve and long-sleeve form assembled by the duo.
First, a navy long-sleeve sees Denji in his devil form on each side with thematic text located at the right sleeve and backside. From there, a dog and chainsaw tee appears in long-sleeve and short-sleeve styles, highlighting the relationship between Denji and Pochita, with a graphic of the latter at the back. Power also receives time in the spotlight with a colored graphic at the back of a short-sleeve tee while Makima lands at the front of another black tee. Rounding out the capsule, a devil hunters tee depicts several of the series’ characters while “The Chainsaw Devil” tee offers another look at Denji in his transformed state.
Release for the Chainsaw Man x Kosuke Kawamura UNIQLO UT collection is scheduled for August 24 with tees priced at $25 USD each via UNIQLO. To kick off its launch, a special collaborative sticker has been prepared as a gift, limited to one per customer while supplies last.
