Throughout 2020, word of a “Wheat”-flavored Nike SB Dunk Low had sneakerheads eager for its release. Its staggered launch concluded in 2021, serving as the successor to the various Air Force 1 “Flax” colorways that have released annually. Now, the pair is gearing up to return in its same look from just a few years ago.

Outfitted in a presentation similar to Reese Forbes’ 2002 SB Dunk Low, the “Wheat” colorway sees various golden brown hues cover the skate-ready sneaker. Its upper toggles between suedes with mesh arriving at the monochromatic tongue. Hits of chocolate brown are included at the tongue branding, embroidered heel detail and midsole while the gum bottom takes on a semi-translucent finish.

At the time of writing, specifics regarding the re-release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Wheat” have not been disclosed by the brand. Look for it to land on shelves this fall via Nike and select retailers and skate shops at a price of $115 USD.

Stay tuned for a launch date and for more of the latest news from the footwear industry, a first look at The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low has surfaced, featuring the “Blossom” colorway with an embroidered eye graphic at the heel tab.
