Update: It’s been a few months since our first look at the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2 popped up in its all-black colorway. Now, the Swoosh has provided a highly-detailed breakdown of the shoe — from its intricate build to the charms and special packaging prepared for the kicks. Enjoy a complete outline of the shoe in the gallery above and stay tuned for release details as we currently expect the pair to touch down on shelves this holiday season at a price of $220 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers alongside its “Faded Spruce” colorway.

Original Story: Breaking onto the scene in 2015, Cynthia Lu’s label Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM) quickly established itself as a major player in streetwear thanks to its collaborations with the likes of Ye and Nike. With the Swoosh, the duo lit up 2019 with its first footwear collaboration taking place on the Air Vapormax 2019. From there, launches such as the Blazer By You “Sponge” led to CPFM eventually receiving its own signature shoe with the brand in 2022 — the Air Flea 1.

Now, thanks to Turnstile bassist Franz Lyons and Complex, we have a first look at what to expect from the Air Flea 2. Spotted during Rolling Loud Miami, the new design sees a waffle tread appear in Balenciaga-esque fashion, reaching up to the toe cap and heel. Its upper appears in a neoprene-like synthetic with two midfoot straps covered by a massive white Swoosh that breaks up the otherwise all-black look. Various co-branding elements are scattered throughout the shoe with references to the Flea 2 name at the tongue and heel tab. Rounding out the look, the pairs utilize a snap button system that allows various ornaments to be attached to the shoe, giving the wearer customization options such as the jumbo Swoosh, symbols and other branding hits.

Both Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike have yet to share any info regarding their upcoming Air Flea 2. Stay tuned for updates regarding the new pair as we expect it to release by the end of 2023 via Nike and select retailers.
