Lil Uzi Vert Says 'The Pink Tape' Is Dropping This June
Two and a half years since its initial announcement.
Lil Uzi Vert confirmed that their long-awaited The Pink Tape is seeing a June release.
The artist shared the news while at the 2023 Roots Picnic, where they pulled up with their iconic purple dreadlocks. When asked about the project’s release date, Uzi answered, “End of the month.” They did not reveal the exact release date or other details.
The Pink Tape was initially announced in December 2020 via Instagram Live, and by August 2021, was supposedly getting mixed. They also revealed a few months later that he’s taking his time with the release “so it won’t suck,” and further hinted that they are “going back in classic mode.”
