Rising UK designer Jean-Luc Ambridge is continuing on an upward trajectory, looking to dominate international fashion one step at a time. His brand, _J.L-A.L_, embraces the fluidity of movement through technical design worn in multiple ways.

Following his pop-up at Dover Street Market Ginza, Ambridge now gives a full look at his Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Titled “Permanent Presence,” the offering resides in several places at once, frozen in time while examining natural phenomenons at each location. _J.L-A.L_’s SS23 collection is protected by “guardian spirits” and leans toward unexpected formalwear.

Terrestrial outlines run across slim-cut suiting, working alongside emerald-studded tops and technical bottoms that set the tone. Padded technical jackets boast dissimilar paneling and protective collars, while lightweight coats feature tight neck wraps paired with baggy denim and delicate shirting.

Take a closer look at _J.L-A.L_’s SS23 collection in the gallery above. It is available to shop now via the brand’s website and select retailers.

Elsewhere, Palace and Oakley’s summer 2023 collaboration is for otherworldly explorers.
