Jacquemus is doing a pop-up grand tour this summer, unveiling that the next stop for his Éte capsule will be in Portofino, Italy. The third stop and drop of the collection is a part of a long list of pop-ups that the French label has planned for the season.
Following his Lake Como pop-up, Jacquemus sets up shop in Via Calata Marconi, the menswear outpost of Italian multibrand retailer Modes. Modes has 22 stores across Italy, France and Switzerland. Setting the scene for a Jacquemus’ signature romantic summer are the cobbled quay by that lines the storefront. The store itself features light wood furniture and a rustic vibe that is seen from the vaulted brick ceilings that contrast the geometric lighting displays.
The Portofino pop-up will be situated in the 1,735-square-foot space until October 16 and features an array of French Riviera inspired looks for men’s and women’s ready-to-wear. Accessories include handbags and hats and as an exclusive to the Portofino store, pieces arrive in pale yellow and earthy tones. The designer took to Instagram to tease what fans can expect from the store, including images of his signature oversized straw hats and versions of the Chiquito and Le Bisou bag. In the same post, Jacquemus also teased that the next pop-up location will be somewhere in France, keeping fans guessing until the announcement.
