Nicki Minaj Announces Official Release Date for Newest Album
Her first LP in five years.
In the past couple of months, Nicki Minaj has dropped a string of new releases including “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” and hit collaborations with Kim Petras and Ice Spice. The Barbie Queen has also been revealed to be a part of the new soundtrack for Barbie all while hopping on a remix with Sexxy Red.
The Barb is busier than ever, with each single teasing a big return to music. Nicki wrote on Twitter earlier, revealing the exact release date for her upcoming and long-awaited album. The LP is set to be dropping later this Fall, marking her first album in five years. Last month, Nicki also teased a potential tour. In a Reel posted to Instagram last month she asked fans, “Do you want me to perform this song on the NM5 TOUR? Do you want a YMCMB STADIUM TOUR after that? I rlly get to rap w the best to ever do it. And still learning from them behind the scenes every day. Yikes.” The video featured Drake and Lil Wayne, further sending fans in a frenzy.
Nicki Minaj’s last album Queen dropped in 2018 and featured a longs list of guest stars including, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Future, Ariana Grande and more. The new album comes after Nicki showed she’s been back in the studio after releasing a chart-topping single with “Super Freaky Girl.” Look out for Nicki’s new album coming on October 20, 2023.
