Gabriela Hearst is reportedly set to exit Chloé as creative designer after three years. Since she helmed the brand, she has delivered several successful accolades for the French luxury house, owned by Richemont, helping propel the brand forward in becoming a sustainable and purpose-led company.

Hearst, who is believed to show her final collection at the brand for Spring 2024 at Paris Fashion Week this Fall, has seen the company through solid revenue gains. Those close to brand have said that the separation is amicable and that Hearst is embarking on a new path to focus more on her own signature brand and other projects. Shortly after Hearst arrived at Chloé, the brand quickly shifted towards taking on a purpose-driven business model. In her time at the house, she has designed low-impact Nama sneakers, all while introducing a host of different recycled and upcycled fabrics for her ready-to-wear collections.

A major feat during her time at Chloé saw Hearst lead the brand to becoming the first European luxury house to receive a B Corp status. This marked a major milestone for the brand as it signifies its commitment to being a purpose-driven and planet-friendly, all while being community-based and accountable. With Hearst’s own brand out of New York City, it was understood that there is a challenge of running a brand in NYC and one in Paris. It is uncertain who will take over as creative director at Chloé just yet. Last February, Chloé reported revenues that increased 60% in the two years Hearst took over as creative director.

In other fashion news, Gisele Bündchen is the star of the newest Louis Vuitton “Horizons Never End” campaign.
