Caroline Chao’s design studio, From: C, is new on the scene. As such, the entity is making sure its debut collection catches the eye. Chao has now unveiled the second of two debut furniture collections entitled “VIEW.”

Aptly titled, the new collection invites everyone to take a look at the pieces, themselves and the space around them as the items appear in reflective mirror surfaces. Irrefutably contemporary, yet elegant, the five-piece collection features the Tea Table, Coffee Table, Orb Wall Mirror, Shard Wall Sconce and I-Beam Light. Whether it be a table or mirror, the collection successfully finds ways to tastefully reinvent a material that most are very familiar with – offering a sense of refreshment. Another striking detail of the objects is their intention to change – as various wavelengths of light pass through, the experience of color and form will shift.

“The original goal of the VIEW Collection is to bring views into the interior of objects, and to celebrate interior views,” explains Chao. “I want to encourage us to see views differently, and appreciate interior and unexpected views. My hope is that the pieces will spur curiosity as to how these effects occur, and invite a deeper understanding and appreciation for our surroundings.”

For more information about the VIEW Collection, visit From: C’s website as some pieces are available now and others are made to order.
