AC Milan's 2023-24 Home Jersey Is Steeped in History
Hit with a tonal chevron design that represents the vibrant energy of Milan.
AC Milan and PUMA have just presented their brand-new home jersey for the 2023-24 season and it sees the Italian giant take inspiration from the North Italy city and the residents that create its unique culture and atmosphere.
As a club, Milan is currently on the rise, having reached the latter stages of the Champions League this season with a collection of young and exciting players — such as Rafael Leão, who Hypebeast recently spoke with — and now the team’s new jersey takes a revitalized approach to the club’s classic red and black stripes to stay aligned with the fresh era the current squad has begun.
As per usual, the jersey is complemented by the stripes of Rossoneri, while a tonal chevron design represents the vibrant energy of the city along with the club’s legacy. The newly-interpreted stripes create a repeating “M” on the front of the new shirt and a black V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs, and trim blend seamlessly into the design. Rounding off the strip, “AC Milan” text work can be spotted on the collar.
A new goalkeeper kit has also been unveiled by AC Milan and PUMA and it has been hit with a deep green base which is decorated with a geometric arrow design in a lighter hue of green. This symbolizes the kit’s focus on the club’s progression and connection to the city.
