Nike Not Working With Tom Sachs "At This Time," No Longer Releasing Mars Yard 3.0
Following troubling accusations back in March.
According to a report,
In response to an inquiry regarding the rumored release of the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 3.0, Nike shared that it is not working with Tom Sachs’ “at this time” and “have no release dates planned.” Initial rumors expected a release of Sachs’ latest footwear design for Nike set for Holiday 2023.
Tom Sach’s began his collaborative relationship with Nike in 2012 with the Nike Mars Yard and most recently released the General Purpose Shoe with the sportswear giant. Sachs’ relationship with Nike is said to be an extension of the artist’s friendship with former CEO Mark Parker who collected Sachs’ artwork.
