FRGMT Readies Collaborative Apparel Capsule With Converse

Led by a varsity jacket, the range supports the duo’s upcoming take on the Converse Weapon.

Godfather of streetwear Hiroshi Fujiwara and his collaborative prowess that runs though his label fragment design — aka FRGMT — has an extensive history of working with Converse. Following up on projects last year, the duo has already launched its Converse By You campaign that centered around the Chuck 70. Now, it’s primed to relaunch the Converse Weapon with a presentation reminiscent of 2014’s  sought-after fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High.

Joining this exciting release, FRGMT has prepared a four-piece apparel capsule with Converse. Leading the range, a varsity jacket features a Melton wool body with faux leather sleeves and a nylon lining. Co-branding also appears via embroidery and rubber silk screen detailing. A white hoodie has also been readied with screen printed graphics at the chest and back that nods to each brand, matching the blue t-shirt that is joined by a simple white t-shirt with co-branding at the chest.

Release for the FRGMT x Converse apparel capsule takes place simultaneously with the duo’s Converse Weapon collaboration — arriving on May 11 via the SNKRS app and Converse’s website. Prices begin at $50 USD for the t-shirts and go up to $200 USD for the varsity jacket.
