Nike Returns With Air Max 90 Dedicated to "Australia"
Surfacing in “Pistachio Green” hues.
After referencing the classic “Silver Bullet” colorway and digging into the ACG archive for inspiration, the Nike Air Max 90 now returns in a special “Pistachio Green” colorway dedicated to the country of Australia.
The upcoming pairs feature a white leather base with silver leather overlay panels. “Gum-tree green and wattle-gold” is typically worn by Australia’s sports teams, including its national cricket team and Olympic team, and we see similar hues used as accent colors for this special-edition AM90. The heel banner, lateral cutouts, and eyestays notably appear in a semi-translucent rubber finish while the tongue tabs and insoles feature “AU” branding. Additional details include gold metallic lace dubraes and sun Swoosh insignias along the lateral heel counter. Rounding out the design are Air bubble midsoles and gum rubber outsoles.
