Watch Daniel Ricciardo & Yuki Tsunoda Race Mini Jet Boats in Miami
The micro boats are quipped with 294cc engines with no brakes.
During the Miami Grand Prix weekend, Scuderia AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda and Red Bull‘s current third driver Daniel Ricciardo made time for some light-hearted competition off the track.
Heading to the water, the world-class drivers are introduced to 6-foot-long micro jet boats. Despite their tiny stature, the boats are equipped with powerful 294cc 28hp turbo jet engines with no brakes. After coming away with a better qualifying time, Yuki narrowly pulls away with the victory. The mini jet boat competition is one of many races planned for this year’s “(Un)Serious Race Series” featuring Red Bull Formula 1 drivers.
