DOXA’s New SUB 300T Pays Tribute To Clive Cussler
Featuring an aged steel look with a vintage compass dial.

Swiss watch Maison DOXA has dropped a special edition SUB 300T time-teller in homage to Clive Cussler, a well-known American novelist and maritime explorer, who’s also been the brand’s longtime inspiration and supporter.
The Clive Cussler timepiece features an original handmade dial reminiscent of an antique compass, while its overall silhouette remains true to the model’s core aesthetics. From the case, bezel, to every detail of the bracelet, the watch presents an aged, weathered steel appearance that nods to adventure-filled journies much like the ones that protagonists in Cussler’s novels go through. Each time-teller also comes engraved with its unique number on the side of the bezel.
Running inside the faceted and structured 42mm case is a mechanical and automatic movement that powers the watch with 38 hours of running time, beating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations hourly.
Available to shop via DOXA’s online shop and select retailers, the SUB 300T Clive Cussler timepiece is priced at $2,690 USD. An additional FKM rubber strap is also available for $490 USD. A percentage of sales generated from this special edition watch will proceed to support the National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA), which was founded by Cussler back in 1979.
