Vulcain has revealed its limited-edition Cricket timepiece in partnership with Revolution and The Rake. Aptly named “Style Moderne,” the watch boasts aesthetic influences from the golden age of Art Deco design, prominently expressed via its two-tone Bellini and anthracite-colored dial. Gracing the center of the dial is a circular track with radial markers that offer extra precise and specific readings for time, while still exuding a vintage look and feel. Other functional adornments are added with simplicity in mind, which goes from the four white rhodium-applied Arabic numerals, and tonal hands made of polished steel.

The “Style Moderne” is attired in a 39mm stainless steel case, fitted with dome-shaped sapphire glass, stainless steel pump pusher, and onion-shaped crown. Its screw-down caseback comes with an embossed logo for Revolution, while an in-house, manual-winding V-10 alarm calibre beats inside to provide the watch with 42-hours of running time. Tying the timepiece altogether are brown calf leather straps, fastened with a stainless steel pin buckle.

Priced at $4,060 USD with a limited production of only 50 pieces, the Vulcain Cricket “Style Moderne” time-teller will be available via Revolution’s official website starting May 18, 10 a.m. EDT.
