Air Jordan 2 Low "Quai 54" Nods to the Tournament's 20th Anniversary
The kicks are styled with Pan-African accents and feature special “20 Years in the Game” hangtags.
One of Jordan Brand‘s annual traditions in the summer is to celebrate its Quai54 streetball tournament in Paris. This year, the Hammadoun Sidibé and Thibaut de Longeville-founded event celebrates its 20th anniversary, and so the brand is going to commemorate the occasion with a special footwear collection. A member of this year’s launch is the Air Jordan 2 Low “Quai 54” installment, and it’s been officially unveiled.
In a similar fashion to its Air Jordan 1 Low counterpart, this offering comes prepared with Pan-African-inspired accents. A majority of the base layer is styled with premium white leather and complemented by bold red piping and a two-toned lower heel counter. A yellow tab is positioned in the center of the quarter panel that is devised with yellow backdrops as well as Jumpman and Quai 54 branding. In addition, geometric patterns rest across the insoles and hangtags that spell-out “20 Years in the Game” come packaged with the kicks.
At the time of writing, no release date has been announced, but stay locked in for updates as we arrive closer tournament that’s set to land on July 1 and 2, 2023.
