No stranger to collaborations with New Balance, UNITED ARROWS is back with another one, this time keeping it grey for the 990v3. In the past UNITED ARROWS and New Balance came together for an elegant bespoke new colorway for the 550 and even dressed up the New Balance 2002R in its signature palette.

The latest collaborative effort sees the Japanese label reuniting with the Boston-based sneaker company. The shoe is slated to arrive in time for the summer and follows the simple and versatile aesthetic of the 990 silhouettes. Similar to the 990v5 and 1700 from 2019 and 2020, the 990v3 MADE in USA icon is designed with monochromatic tones in mind. Most of the shoe sees dark grey hues across the suede and mesh constructed upper. The suede elevates the lateral panels, all while highlighting the silhouette of the shoe. White details the midsole unit as well as outlines the “N” logo which is also featured in silver metallic detailing to complement the trim at the top of the forefoot and heel tab.

Look out for the UNITED ARROWS x New Balance 990v3 releasing in early June at select retailers and online at UNITED ARROWS or New Balance for $250 USD.

In other footwear news, the Nike Air Monarch IV returns in “Light Bone.”
