You’ve got to tip your hat to the New Balance for reintroducing its 2002R in collaborative form with Salehe Bembury in 2020, because ever since then, the silhouette has been a popular staple in its lifestyle category. And after being decorated with earthy tones by The Basement, the model is now being thrusted back into the spotlight for an exclusive drop alongside UNITED ARROWS.

For this latest design, the Japanese retailer leans on one of its signature palettes to ornament the kicks. Mesh underlays, smooth leather overlays, laces and tongues are done up with angelic finishes, but its the accents here that purloin most of the attention. Bright purple and blue hits are tossed onto the upper, the former of which lands on the toe boxes, throat and heels while the latter spills onto the interior lining, and front end’s flag-like logos. N logos that sit on the mid-foot are fitted with a gradient application of the two.

If interested, you can find these available now to order via the UNITED ARROWS website for ¥16,280 (approx. $125 USD).
