Reigning Champ Teams Up with Face Oka for an Earth Day Capsule
Proceeds go to Panthera, an organization dedicated to protecting wild cats.
In celebration of Earth Day, which takes place on April 22, Reigning Champ has teamed up with Tokyo-based graphic artist, Face Oka, for a limited-edition capsule collection supporting endangered wildlife.
The upcoming series features midweight tees and a Nalgene water bottle featuring exclusive illustrations of a Canada Lynx, an Iromote Cat, and Pallas’ Cat, all of which are wild cat species endemic to the collaborators’ countries of Japan and Canada. Painted in pink, the cats are joined by Face Oka’s signature upside-down smiley face figure. The comic-style mascots pose as a team with varsity sweaters, and the slogan “Save Earth & Friends” is printed on the front of the tees.
The collection is now available exclusively through Reigning Champ’s website and retail locations. 10% of sale proceeds will be donated to Panthera, a leading organization dedicated to protecting and defending the world’s 40 species of wild cats and their habitats.
