Following the unprecedented announcement that Frank Ocean will be dropping out of Coachella 2023 Weekend 2 due to an injured left leg, the festival has announced the headliner swap.

Taking Ocean’s place is band Blink-182. The band reunited for their first performance in almost a decade at Coachella last Friday night. They played a 50-minute Sahara stage, which saw Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker play some of their greatest hits and their new single, “Edging.” They also played fan-favorite mash-ups like “Dammit,” as well as TLC’s late ’90s hit, “No Scrubs.” Founding Blink-182 guitarist and vocalist DeLonge, initially spilled the news on a now-deleted Instagram that saw his caption read, “See you Sunday night #COACHELLA #MainStage.”

In a new press release, Coachella has also just announced that they have added Four Tet, Fred Again.. and Skrillex as last minute headliners at the Coachella main stage to fill in Ocean’s previous Sunday night slot. This announcement comes just after the trio sold out their last minute rave at Madison Square Garden earlier this year. Recently, Skrillex also teased the idea of dropping new music, following histwo albums already released this year. Both Fred Again.. and Four Tet have been spotted working on new music together in New York this year.

In other music news, The Weeknd announces the release date of the new Future collab “Double Fantasy.”
