Swizz Beatz Enlists JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Jay Electronica, Nas and More for 'Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2'
Paying homage to New York rap.
Swizz Beatz and Mass Appeal have dropped off the highly-anticipated EP, Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2.
Clocking in at just under 20 minutes, the seven-track project is fully produced by Swizz and features a star-studded list of guest contributors: Nas, Lil Wayne, JAY-Z, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, Scar Lip, Fivio Foreign, Bandmanrill, Lil Durk, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Jay Electronica, with a special bonus track to be released.
Vol. 2 is described as “an ode to New York rap” and follows DJ Premier’s Vol. 1 from July 2022, with both serving as a celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary this year. Vol. 1 featured appearances from the likes of Nas, Remy Ma, Joey Bada$$, Lil Wayne, Rapsody, Run The Jewels and more.
