Nike Presents a Greyscale Air Max 97 With Splashes of "Aqua"
Available in the coming months for $185 USD.
Nike has just presented its latest Air Max 97 iteration and this time, the sneaker has been dressed in a greyscale color scheme, while the finer details are complemented by speckles of “Aqua.”
Recently, Nike’s Air Max 97 has been hit with a slew of experimental color schemes and constructions. From the vibrant “Be True” and “Oxidized” to the impressively put-together Air Max 97 Futura, the Swoosh has used its 97 silhouette as a canvas for trying new ideas, ones that keep its fans engaged and eager for what’s to come next.
Constructed with a nylon mesh base, the new AM97’s inner lining has also been hit with leather overlays and black details. Meanwhile, the same black hue is applied to the tongue labels, pull tabs, and rubber outsole. Splashes of “Aqua” are then used to supply a nice pop of color atop the shoe’s white midsole to round off the design.
