Pride month is still a handful of months away, but Nike is getting a head start and showing off its forthcoming celebratory footwear installments. One that has officially been revealed by the brand is the Nike Air Max 97 “Be True” which comes equipped with unique textures and accessories.

By nature, the Air Max 97 is a unique silhouette that is brought to life with wavy uppers, but this LGBTQIA2S+-friendly makeup takes things to new heights by incorporating multi-colored frills that wrap around the base. Mudguards offset with a lighter tan leather and come accented by solid black Swooshes atop the mid-foot windows and tongues. To further echo its motif, Swoosh designers have added “Be True” beads that hook onto the quarter panels as well as “Be True” spell-outs on the heels of the graphic footbeds. An extra bracelet comes packaged with the kicks and features a variety of other Pride-appropriate charms such as hearts, Nike Air Force 1 logos with rainbow backdrops, peace signs and stacked, multi-colored Swooshes. Additionally, the shoes are housed in side a special rainbow shoe box that has special “Be True” paper.

Look for Nike and other retailers to launch these in the coming months.

In case you missed it, the Nike LeBron 20 “Nike Lifer” has received a release date.
