Since its founding, Los Angeles-based eyewear brand AKILA has not only revealed a catalog of contemporary frames but a consistent effort on bringing new collaborations. From Grateful Dead to PLEASURES, the collaborations are wide-reaching in style. Now AKILA is adding to its collab catalog by linking up with SoCal entity Afield Out.

The new offering aptly fuses Afield Out’s outdoor-inspired streetwear aesthetic with AKILA’s knack for versatile sunglasses. Utilizing AKILA’s Apollo and Lagos silhouettes, the new collaboration updates them with nature-inspired detailing. The most distinct design is an intertwined floral detail on the sunglasses’ arms. Additional details include a floral etching on the lenses and a mountain range design on the frame rim. The range of sunglasses comes in green, brown, smoke gray and black acetate with varying lens colors.

Check out the sunglasses in the gallery above. Priced at $150 USD, the Afield Out x AKILA collaboration is available now online.
