Dior's Warp Sandal Combines Exoskeleton Technicalities With Gardening Duties
The $1,000 USD pair comes in four colorways, each packaged with unique socks.

Kim Jones‘ Dior has kicked Summer 2023 off strong, debuting a gardening-inspired campaign that spotlighted the lead artist collaboration with Duncan Grant as well as a capsule made in conjunction with MYSTERY RANCH, and now the Parisian House has delivered a closer look at its star footwear style, the Warp Sandal.
Finding the balance between formality and urban utility, the Warp is a new style designed by Thibo Denis that explores an ultra-futuristic realm — something completely new within Jones’ vision. However, keeping in theme with the House, you’ll find a body that utilizes Dior’s Cannage design, inspired by cane chairs and the archival atelier of Christian Dior.
It works like an exoskeleton, letting the elements inside with its open structure. As a result, the shoe is also incredibly light, while a thick insole — arriving in tones of mint green, pink, white, or black against contrasting external uppers — adds plenty of cushioning.
Accentuating its tactile touch is the cord lace structure that runs across the shoe, connecting with a “CD” cord stopper and technical eyelets for a look indebted to the great outdoors. Closed welding, Dior branding on the heel and insole, and a grooved outsole round out the Warp.
Take a look at the Dior Warp in black, white, anthracite grey and khaki colorways above, and purchase a pair online or in Dior’s boutiques for £870 GBP/$1,000 USD now.
